KVP thread protectors are feature-packed, for such a simple part. Made from high-quality US Steel, on our in-house 8-Axis Swiss lathe. The KVP thread protector line-up features an ID bore that helps protect the crown of your barrel. The crown is often forgotten when looking at other thread protectors on the market. KVP also integrated wrench flats for easy installation and removal. Black Nitride QPQ finish was chosen to ensure excellent wear properties so the finish would match high-quality barrels utilizing the same finishing treatment. Laser engraved for ease of identification.
